Using "Available Trading Funds" INSTEAD OF. "Cash balance" to determine risk - IB
I'm having an Issue with my bot using the "available cash" instead of "available to trade funds " figure to determine risk. I have a margin account and I have to have so much cash on hand to have open margin positions. So the bot needs to use the other figure from available to trade funds. Does anybody know how to get ninja to get access to that figure from my IB account? (see figures for clarification)2 PhotosTags: None

Hello coingiant,
Thanks for your post.
You can use Account.Get() method and pull various account items. I am not sure what would match up with "Current available funds" so it may be a matter of pulling multiple items and performing math to determine what that IB value is.
Here is a link to Account.Get(): https://ninjatrader.com/support/helpGuides/nt8/?get.htm
