RSS ATOM/Feed capability for NT8

In NT7 there is an RSS Feed feature that appears to allow for RSS feeds to be utilized with NT7 separate from the market data providers connection/feed. This feature was removed in NT8. I would like to have the ability to use an RSS feed. Currently the only option is to use a data provider that provides news feeds as part of their service offering. The only two supported data feeds to do so are Kinetick and TD Ameritrade.

Is it possible to use NinjaScript to process a properly formatted new feed for use within the NT8 News Window? I have a working ATOM/RSS C# project that processes feeds but I don't know if NinjaScript provides any method for that data to be used within NT8. Any thoughts on this would be helpful.

Thanks for the post.

You could use NinjaScript to do web requests and your own processing, there is currently no means to add an RSS feed to either platform.

You can see the the news indicator from the app share to get an idea of how to do a web request. Parsing an RSS feed is not something we could assist with but you can search online for general C# guides on how to parse RSS in C#.
