PlaySound if chart is in backgound

Hello,

When an indicator has sound alerts and the chart that it's on is put in the background, the sound will only play if you put the chart in the foreground.

Is there any way to play sounds no matter whether the chart is in the background or foreground?

The goal is to play a sound anytime an indicator plays one no matter what.

When you say "put in the background", do you really mean "minimize the chart window"?

Hi gbrad, thanks for your post.

To keep the indicator active when it is in the background, or minimized make sure to set IsSuspendedWhileInactive to false to keep the indicator active when inactive. The alert will still play when the indicator is not active:

Yes, either minimized or if you have multiple tabs on a chart and it's not on that tab. Chris answered the question that I was seeking.
