Order Filled Alert

Good evening. Does anyone know if you can/how to setup Ninja Trader to alert me when my open order is filled?

Are you asking to do this from a strategy or what is the overall goal for how you want to appraoch the alert?

A strategy can alert you for orders it had submitted. If you mean for manual orders or other out of strategy type orders then different logic would be required to do that.

The Share method can be used to send emails, you can also send normal alerts using Alert.

How? Even if it is a strategy I bought from a 3rd party vendor? Or needs to be coded to be able to implement that

Hello gpr95,

In addition to the sound that the platform makes by default when submitting orders you can also use the Alert, PlaySound or Share methods to submit different types of alerts. You would do that by using any of those commands when you submit the order in the strategies code. If this is something from a third party vendor you would need to contact the vendor to see if they already have alerts or can add that into the script.
