How can I check from the the NT8 side whether the ATI (NinjaTrader.Client.dll) is currently connected (has an active connection) to an external client?

Hello b16_aln,
If successfully connected, the Connected() method will return a 0, meaning connected, instead of a -1, meaning not connected.

Thanks Chelsea,
I understand the Connected() method can be run on the external client to check connection. However, I am looking to check from the NT8 side whether the connection is active, not from the external client side.
I've had a look around NinjaTrader.Adapters,Ninjatrader.Cbi etc but can;t find anything obvious which will throw a bool when the ati client is connected.
