    AddOnFramework.cs refresh after compiling?

I jsut stared playign with the AddOnFramework.cs file, it appears after I modify the code and compile it in the NinjaScript Editor, I need to close the AddOn Framework window, then relaunch it from the Control Center .

The help docs says it should instantly update after a successful compile.

in the meantime, is there a button that I can add with a command to refresh the tab?
or is something else wrong here?

    Hello balltrader,

    Thank you for the post.

This would be similar to pressing F5 to reload NinjaScript in a chart, the addon window would need recreated for those changes to be seen. The instantly updated part means the new addon exists in memory so you don't need to restart the platform to see changes. There are addons that can be made which would require restarting to see changes, that would be when using the external visual studio project.

I am not aware of a way to reload changes when using an addon window, that would require implementing your own mechanism to replace the content of the tab. If you made any changes to anything outside of the tab contents that would still require reloading the whole window by starting a new window so its generally expected that you will need to close and re open the window during development.

I look forward to being of further assistance.

Aha, thank you for clarifying what "instantly updated" meant.
I tried to search documentation and the forums for the requirement to refresh the panel after compiling, but i did not find anything, so I asked...
