This depends on what you are trying to do.

You have posted in the Addon Development section of forums. Are you custom coding an Addon in C#?

If so, data can be retrieved with a BarsRequest.

Are you trying to download historical data manually?

This can be done in the Tools -> Historical Data window -> on the Load tab.

I want to write a replay download tool. The NinjaTrader tool is so poorly designed and I want one that works for me. Since people have been asking for change for ten years, I have zero expectations NinjaTrader is ever going to do anything.

Is the BarsRequest how the existing download is designed?

Hello morrnel,

A BarsRequest is used to request historical data and subscribe to real-time data.
This is not used to download Market Replay data.

There are no supported NinjaScript methods to download Market Replay data.

Historical Tick data can be used for Playback instead of Market Replay data.

A few external applications have been created to download market replay data.
