How to propagate changes to global drawing

If you have a drawing that can be changed by a method other than the properties (i.e. change color via context menu etc), the change is not properly propagated if the drawing is also a global drawing. Instead the change takes place in the local drawing copy on the chart where the change tool place, while the other copies retain the original value. When using the properties everything works as expected and all copies are updated.

How would one propagate changes to the "global" instance that is persisted from within drawing code?

Does not seem reasonable to have a drawing look for and update all copies of a drawing when global.

Hello aslane, thanks for your post.

We currently have an open feature request to allow changes made by NinjaScript to Drawing tools to propagate throughout the workspace so that all globals are updated as well ID# SFT-4438. Ill add a vote to this for you. Did you try removing the draw object entirely and re-calling the corresponding Draw method? I would expect that to update properly with a possible slight hit to performance.
