How to access Ninjatrader.SDF

I'm working on an addon to create strategies based on information from a 3rd party program. I was able to track down that the strategies tab gets the live strategies information from the Ninjatrader.SDF. The issue I'm running into is that when I try to access the file it tells me that it's encrypted and I need to enter the password in order to open it. Is there another way to access the file either from within or outside of ninjatrader?

Accessing the SQL database would be unsupported. Some clients have written about some things they have tried on the forums and I have linked a NinjaTrader 7 related thread that might be helpful.
