- I don't seem to understand how does this method work. I know that it returns -1 if there was no swing found within the strength+1 bars. But since I'm using strength+1 as my setting for finding swing low bar, why does it return 4 or 5 when I call the method while it should only return the last swing that was found within strength+1 bars.

trying to understand the swing indicator
Hi, I have been trying to develop a strategy with the setup using a lower high and higher low. I have decided to use swing since it seems to be the best approach. The setting that I will be using is Swing(2). I have been testing around with the method Swing(Input, 2).SwingLowBar(0, 1, strength + 1) with the strength set as 2, and using Print statement to test what values does it return. I understand that it would return -1 if there was no swing found within the last strength+1 bars. However, from the print statement, it has shown the possible values (-1,2,3,4,5) of what Swing(Input, 2).SwingLowBar(0, 1, strength + 1) can return.
