Can AddOn Monitor For Indicator Adds Or Change Indicator Panel

Is it possible for an AddOn to monitor/be notified when any indicator is added to a chart?

Is it possible for AddOn to change an indicator, i.e. change the Panel, and then have the Chart update accordingly?

I am trying to auto update the layout based on a user add (without using a template).

Hello aslane,

You could potentially do this however setting values in an indicator is not something we have any supported examples for and may not work as expected. Most items your indicator sets will need to be set up when it starts so depending on what you are trying to update it may or may not be possible. There is also not any events I am aware of, this would be something you could poll for at a timed interval.

From the context of an addon you would need to find windows and then dig into each window to find its ChartControl to do this.
