Is it possible to add a routine in a strategy script so that backtest results are automatically exported/saved to a CSV or TXT file? If so, would that be done using a template with some custom C# commands?

Hello CB001,
Thank you for the question.
Yes, in this case, you could use C# logic to write results to file if you wanted. This would not be the same results you see in the results view of the analyzer, but the variables and whatever values you wanted from your script. If you wanted to export the results screen directly, that would still be a manual step in the analyzer.
You can find some samples of writing to file here: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...o_write_to.htm
I look forward to being of further assistance.

Hello kk009,
Thank you for the post, and welcome to the NinjaTrader support forum.
Since NinjaScript is a C# library, you can use the C# conventions to interact with Excel. This post covers the topic.
As a more straightforward approach, you could write a CSV file with C# using the example that our colleague NinjaTrader_Jesse shared in his last post.
Please let me know if we can assist further.
