Does importing always recompile

When importing an indicator/strategy via zip file (import ninjascript addon via tools menu), does NinjaTrader always perform a recompile? Or does the user need to manually recompile via a ninjascript editor window? Could not find in doc, so wanted to to verify current state.

Hello aslane,

Correct, that is part of the overall import process. There is not an outline of the exact steps in that process but part of that process is to compile and check for any errors, it will also be compiled if it was imported successfully so that it can be used.
