    CopyTo() Override Doesn't Fire for AddOn?

    I'm familiar with the CopyTo() override and have used it successfully in Indicators and DrawingTools.

    However, it doesn't seem to fire in an AddOn.

    As shown in the code below, the Print() statement never yields to the Output window.

    Thoughts? Am I missing something?

    Code:
            public override void CopyTo(NinjaScript ninjaScript)
            {
                Print("COPY TO FIRED"); // <-- THIS NEVER PRINTS

                base.CopyTo(ninjaScript);
            }

    Hello MarkWise,

    The CopyTo() is generally used for clonable objects.

    This is not documented for NinjaTrader 7 or for NinjaTrader 8.

    Addons do not inherit from IndicatorBase or StrategyBase and have a different set of tools. (Addon class objects are not applied to charts needing lots of cloning)

      Ok.. That confirms my suspicions.

      Much obliged.
