Extended Line with option for "extend left" and "extend right"

This is my theme for the day. : ) I've asked for this for both the Labeled Lines addon,and Horizontal Lines, but it would be most helpful for Extended Lines as well....

I like to be able to extend my lines left and/or right (started this on TOS). With Extended Line I would also like to be able to create an end (so it doesn't shoot out forever). Should someone have the opportunity to add as options "extend left" and "extend right," with both checked as default, (to cover what everyone needs) and also the option to end the extended lines, I would be most appreciative....(I have to admit, I have never understood the reason why the lines go on forever.....)

Hi, thanks for your note.

You can use the Ray drawing tool for this purpose. This will extend into only one direction.
