Reload Historical Data Programatically

Is there a NinjaScript method that will allow me to reload historical data on a chart from an add on?

Thanks for your post.

There is a method to ReloadAllHistoricalData() which is reserved for connection status changes and we would not support using it for other purposes. There also is no other supported way to programmatically reload a chart from an AddOn. You may be able to come up with your own solution by looping through each chart, applying focus, and then invoking the Reload All Historical Data operation with Ctrl + Shift + R.

The Rollover Indications indicator for NinjaTrader 8 could provide some direction for applying focus and raising keyboard events and the loop below can demonstrate looping through all charts.
