Accessing another data series from within a custom bar type

Could someone explain how to access another data series from a custom bar type?

I'm trying to calculate something on 1 Minute data from within a custom bar type

Hello NinjaCustomer,

BarType scripts do not have the ability to use Series objects.

You can do a BarsRequest if you need data out of sync from any instrument or other BarType.

I'm trying to calculate the ATR of a 1 minute chart from within a bar type..

is there any way this could be possible? even if I do the atr calculations myself?

Hello NinjaCustomer,

It would be possible by doing a BarsRequest and writing the logic of the ATR into the Addon script using the data from the BarsRequest.
