Price crossing a line

Hello, reading through this thread, and checking if there is a solution:

I want to manually draw a ray with a slope, and I want to find its "Y" value relative to my current bar and maybe even "X" bars ago while I am using none time based chart (ex, Renko chart). Is this possible and how? Any samples would be great.

My ultimate goal is to be able to manually draw custom "Trend" channel with certain angle, and detect when price gets into this channel and breaks out from there on Renko chart.

This should be possible.

Loop through the DrawObjects.ToList() collection to get the manually drawn objects.

Convert the anchors to bar numbers using Bars.GetBar().

I see it will work on time based charts, however, will it work on Tick or Renko chart? Especially, few Renko bars could form in 1 second... but for Time Based (minute bars) it should work....

Hello music_p13,

Bars.GetBar() would be returning the closest bar that closed after the date time of the drawing object anchor.
I would expect this to work for any bar type including non-time-based bars.
