How can I know if my connection is market replay?

You can hover over the green connection circle in the bottom left hand corner of the screen or view your connections menu in the control center window to see who you are connected to.

There are a couple ways this can be done.

One way would be to subscribe to account item events for the Playback101 account. Another way would be to subscribe to account status events and look for the "Playback" connection.

Isn't there a simpler way? On NT7 there was Account.Mode or Bars.MarketData.Connection.Options.Provider

As far as supported and documented ways go, this is what would be available.

You could try checking if Cbi.Connection.PlaybackConnection is not null, however this wouldn't be a documented/supported item and may change.
