futures volume on spot market

Hello all,

I have two instruments spot and futures . basically is it possible to have futures market volume on spot market prices. i want this on india's nifty index here there is not 24 hour trading. so market time exactly same for both. i just don't want to plot volume but give colour to prices on basis of volume deviation from mean. so loading two data series and plot volume on one cannot be done.

If I understand correctly, you are wanting to generate a volume profile ("...give colour to prices on basis of volume deviation from mean.") of the futures data on spot market price. I am unfamiliar with NIFTY index data so I do not know if the correlation between the spot and the futures index would be an issue.

You may want to consider custom programming to accomplish your goals. While we do not provide custom programming, we can certainly provide references to 3rd party programmers who may be able to accomplish your goal.
