Creating multiple time periods in Strategy Builder

Hello greg6622,
Thanks for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!
Yes, you can add other time frames to the strategy builder and can use those as inputs to indicators that you can then use as conditions.
Basically, in the "Additional data" page, you would add the other data series (do not add the data series on the chart as that is already used). If I understand your example you have a 5 minute chart and what to access a 60 minute time frame so in that case, you would only need to add the 60-minute bars. Once you click "add" you would check "use primary instrument" and then change the default 1-minute to your 60-minute bar. In the conditions builder, you would select the MACD indicator and change the "input series" to be the 60 minute bars.
Here is a short video I made the other day where there is a 5-minute chart, adding 60-minute bars in the strategy builder and using those to check the RSI value on the 60-minute bars, so this should be very close to what you want to do: https://Paul-ninjaTrader.tinytake.co...NV8xMDg3NzUyMQ
