Custom Bar Type With Custom Properties

I have looked at the discussions relating to adding custom properties to custom bar types.These discussions date to 2015 and early 2016.

Is it possible to add a custom property to a custom bar type? I am able to add a custom property to the property collection but it will not hold a value, and I am also not able to specify its placement in the collection. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

NinjaTrader 8 does not support new custom properties for BarTypes or ChartStyles.

However, there are you can use for your purposes with SetPropertyName().

SFT-1269, allow for custom properties for bar types, has not been implemented at this time. Please let me know if you would also like to submit a request for this.
