    Quantity Threshold warning

    Hello,

I have my NinjaScript strategy placing orders for me throughout the day with an input quantity of the number of lots I want to trade. This morning I received a warning that the quantity in the order I placed exceeded the warning threshold, asking for my confirmation.

How can I set this threshold higher? I am using MB as my broker.

    Thanks

Of the top of my head I would state that NT does not have any qty warning threshold. So...could it be that this is some MBT warning message?

If not, could you please post a screen shot of this message(box)?

      Dierk,

Searching the mbtsdk I actually found a post by you :-)

MbtPrefs.QuantityWarning is a read-only function. Do you remember what you came up with for this issue? Was it a Navigator setting?

FYI. For anyone else having this issue, I found this in the MbtSDK help file.

This object, whose properties for the most part are read-only, is a store for the multitude of user-preferences available for use by all other components, including your application program. Preferences are persisted server-side at application shutdown, and are automatically restored into this object at successful login.

Sorry, don't recall .. too long ago. Current NT code is not using/setting this property.

          Okay. Thanks.

I'll report back with whatever I find out.

            Solution::

If you go to File->New MBT Navigator... in NT.
From there right the bottom of the Navigator box and select Preferences.

In these preferences there's an option "Warn if lot exceeds" setting.
Anything setting changed here are saved (as far as I've read in the help file) on the server side and don't have to be adjusted for the account again.

...and in case you're wondering about lot sizes - with MB Trading 1 Lot = 10,000 units & 1 MicroLot = 1,000 units. Just worth noting as it is different from other brokers where typically 1 Lot = 100k.
