One account and one strategy

Hello,

For one account and trading only one strategy, does the account need to be specified in the script? Also, besides unchecking "Global Simulation Mode", is there anything else required in the strategy for it to go live? Thanks

Thanks for your post.

No, the account is actually selected when you apply the strategy, in the strategy "properties" in the "set-up" section.

For the strategy to go live you need the live account selected as described above, global simulation unchecked as you noted and finally the "enabled" box checked.

Sorry, I posted the question for NT 8 when in fact I'm using NT 7. So are your instructions the same for the strategy to go live with NT 7?
You mentioned:

* I go to Options > ATI > General - Default account needs to reflect the "actual live trading account" and not "Sim account"
* I unchecked "global simulation box"
* Which "enabled" box checked you are referring to?

Thanks for your reply and clarification.

I'll see if we can move this thread to NT7 territory.

When you go to add the strategy either to a chart or through the strategy tab in the control center, the strategies window will open for you to select the strategy to use. Once you select your strategy, on the right side of the window will be the strategies parameters. In the case of NT7 you want to find the row "Enabled" in the General section and set it to true.
