Bar open

Hi, is there any way that I can make an automatic strategy trigger an entry at bar open instead of bar close ?

And how can I make an indicator to calculate at bar open instead of bar close?

Thank you for the question.

CalculateOnBarClose would be the default logic used in the platform overall and can not be changed. All logic in the platform is based around the Closing of bars. You can use the First tick of a bar to simulate the Open of a bar rather than a Close.

This would require using CalculateOnBarClose = false or a 1 tick series and the FirstTickOfBar property. To add a 1 tick series, I would suggest to review the SampleMultiTimeFrame strategy for a sample of the structure required.

Essentially the script would either need to be run as CalculateOnBarClose = false, or a 1 tick series would need to be added and checked for this event. Once this property is true, you could do whatever logic is needed on the Open of the bar rather than the Close.
