    instrument "flat"-ness vs. pending limit order

    1. my "instrument" starts out flat. I know this to be true because the following comparison
    produces a boolean "true" result when "BarsInProgress == desired_instrument":
    "Position.MarketPosition == MarketPosition.Flat".

    2. Now I post an entry limit order on the "BarsInProgress == desired_instrument".

    3. suppose the limit order is ***all*** pending... the order is for multiple contracts and NONE
    of them has filled.

    4. When "BarsInProgress == desired_instrument", what will "Position.MarketPosition ==
    MarketPosition.Flat" give me? will it be true? or will it be false?

    Hello jalexan1,

    Thanks for your post.

    In the case of a multi series strategy, you will need to check using Positions[n]

    Please see the helpguide, with examples http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...?positions.htm
