I've written a bunch of indicators, but no strategies yet. I'll be using NT8. I'm sure I can figure most of it out as it's faily simple, but I have a couple desires I'm not sure is easily possible
Firstly, I want to have 2 buttons on the chart, LONG, SHORT. One must be selected for the system to be active, the rest of the time the system does not take trades. I want to do this directly off the chart. Possible?
Secondly, I'd like to have the indicator draw 2 lines on the chart, one above price, once below. THese lines can be moved by the user, i.e. they are not fixed. The system takes the trade also when above or below these lines only, so it'd need to read the 'price' of the line. I know I can put a couple lines up there with specific tags, but how to get the Y (price) of a specific tag if the user moves the line??
