Placing order only when flat question

Hey,

My first time strategy, and what I notice is happening is that I get more than one short or long signal following each other. I was just wondering if someone can explain how to code to make it only enter order when my position is flat?

Add this condition to your orders:

if (Position.MarketPosition == MarketPosition.Flat)
     EnterLong();

What that did was exit my position and then enter the new position. What I was wondering was if, for example, it could be like

1st short signal

take short

2nd signal short

no action

3rd signal short

no action

4th signal long

exit short, enter long
