query margin from NT strategy

how can i query the margin - portfolio margin and maintenance margin for IB from NT?

Thank you for your post.
There is not a supported way to get portfolio or maintenance margin from the account.
In NinjaTrader 8 you can use AccountItem to get your position margin, initial margin and intraday margin. http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...ccountitem.htm

There is not a set release date for NinjaTrader 8. NinjaTrader 8 is currently in a beta phase.

While Margin is reported in the Accounts Tab this information is not exposed to NinjaScript in NinjaTrader 7.
