    Trail stop

    Hello,Support!

    Have a question about the trailing stop.Is there a way to make a trail more flexible?So by default a trail stop(ticks and not trigger) is,for e.g. 30 points,as the price move off,i`d like to make the first trail 30 points;the second - 15 points,etc...

    Is it also possible to create an alert for the trail stop within a strategy?

    Thank you!

    Hello outsource,

    Thank you for your post.

    Both options are available. For the Trail Stop you would need to adjust it in OnBarUpdate() based on your conditions. For the Alert, if you wish to alert when it is triggered you would use OnExecution().

    You can find our reference sample on adjusting the SetStopLoss at the following link. The same concept can be applied to the SetTrailStop.

    For OnExecution alert on fill of the trail stop you would use code similar to the following:
    Code:
    protected override void OnExecution(IExecution execution)
    {
    if (execution.Order.Name == "Trail stop")
    Alert(your alert details here);
    }
    Please visit the following links for information on Alert() and OnExecution():
