changes of strategy results

Set up a strategy, viewing it with replay paused using 1000 Vol bar. Then went back and ran the strategy with replay. Got different results. Appears to be a function of where a bar started. Could get similar results if I adjusted bar Vol=1002.

Is there a best practice method to use when developing strategies for small increment bars?

Thank you for your post.

If you start from a different point for the Market Replay, depending on the bar type you may see different results for the volume.

We would not have any best practices specific to small increment bars.
