I don't have a computer science background, so learning some of it as I go along. I'm looking to setup Ninjatrader 7 (64 bit), on a server/cloud/virtual machine. This seems to be the only way to get around domestic infrastructure issues. ie.. power failure, kids streaming, workstation crashing..etc.
What configuration have you come up with that would be ideal, goal is to remotely checkin to make sure autotrading systems are running.
Virtual Box from Oracle is very cool and was easy to setup. I actually run Ninjatrader 7 on MacBook Pro at times.
