How to create a User Variable using a user input in Strategy Wizard

Hi all,

I am trying to create a user variable using a user input previously defined.

I have created an input called ATRPeriod1
Now I would like to use a user variable: Variable0=ATRPeriod1+3

Is it possible to do this using Strategy Wizard?

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums!

Regrettably that cannot be accomplished in strategy wizard.

What you could to is to create as much of your strategy as possible in the strategy wizard and then select the option to "unlock" the code. You could then directly edit the code to add the +3 and compile the strategy.

Please note that once your strategy is unlocked, you can no longer work directly in the strategy wizard.
