    Parabolic SAR

    I am trying to use Parabolic SAR as an exit. How do you exit using Parabolic SAR? I included a picture. If you are long and Parabolic goes above, exit long. I have tried everything with no luck.

    I was thinking it was this:

    if (ParabolicSAR(0.02,0.2,0.02)[0] < Close[0])

    Thank you.

    Hello shawnkm,

    Thank you for your post.

    You want to check when the ParaboliSAR crosses above the close, right?

    If so, it would be the following:
    Code:
    			if (CrossAbove(ParabolicSAR(0.02, 0.2, 0.02), Close, 1))
    			{
    				ExitLong();
    			}
    Information on CrossAbove: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...crossabove.htm

    Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

      Wouldn't that be this?

      if (ParabolicSAR(0.02,0.2,0.02)[0] > Close[0])
