    Referencing a continuous contract

    How would I do a check for a continuous contract in NinjaScript

    Instrument.Expiry == ????

    Thanks for your post.

    If you use expiry I think a continuous contract will always show 1/1/1900 12:00:00 AM whilst a fixed contract would show 3/1/2016 12:00:00 AM.

    A better way would be to test the fullname which includes the contract month and year.

    The statement, Print ("Fullname: "+ Instrument.FullName);
    On a continuous shows: fullname: CL ##-##
    On the March contract shows: fullname: CL 03-16
