Execute only once

Every line of code inside protected override void OnBarUpdate() { } executes every time new data comes up. How to execute a piece of logic within this method only once?

it would be easier to answer if you would clarify what ur actually tryin to achieve. what is it that should be done only once and when?

but to give you at least one option. you could use a combination of bools.

if (condition)
   doitonce = true;

if (doitonce == true && dontdoitagain == false){
  // Do something here only once
  dontdoitagain=true;
}

if you however want to set something once at the beginning you could also just add it to the Initialize section instead.
