Can I cancel an order which is in a state of Accepted, PendingSubmit or Working?

Thank you for your note.

An order can be cancelled in the states of Accepted and Working.
When in PendingSubmit, the order cannot be cancelled until the brokerage acknowledges the order with an accepted or cancelled. Once that is received the cancellation will go through.

What happens if I cancel an order in a PartFilled state?

Hello kiss987,

When part filled, this means that the order is likely going to continue filling.

If you call a cancel on a part filled order and the order fill amount on the brokers end has not changed since sending the cancellation, the cancellation will take affect and cancel the remaining amount.

If the order fill amount on the brokers end changes before the cancellation is received, the cancellation will be rejected, an overfill will occur and the will fill the remaining amount.
