    IDataSeries

    If I have a method with an IDataSeries as a parameter, and say I pass Closes[0] (the primary bars) to the method, can I access, say, the 10th bar back of Closes[0] with the index number added to parameter ? ie:

    Code:
    public void SomeMethod(IDataSeries input)
    {
         Print( " value = " + input[10] );
    }
    so if I now called the method

    Code:
    SomeMethod(Closes[0]);
    would it print the price for Closes[0][10]?

    Hello Gkonheiser,

    Thank you for your post.

    You would just pass through the series without the bar index. For example:
    Code:
    PrintSeriesBack(Close);
    Code:
    		private void PrintSeriesBack(IDataSeries series)
    		{
    			Print(series[10]);
    			return;
    		}

      But what if I want to access a different Bars Index. IE if I want to Process the Primary bars in another Bar Object, say tick bars. And do this in a method?

        I see, I missed the Closes part. The answer here is yes, this would work.
