FXCM order entry

Hi everyone

I have a live FXCM (UK) account but I haven't placed a live trade with them yet.

On FXCM's 'spreadbetting' side (only possible in the UK, I think), trades are placed at so much per point (and not in terms of the number of contracts).

It's possible to trade a value as low as GBP 0.06 (6 pence) per point - and any value above this: e.g. 1.58, 4.72, etc.

I've just checked in Help and the overload in EnterLong (for example) is an int.

If I use:

EnterLong(6);

will this represent GBP 0.06 (6 pence) or GBP 6 (6 pounds)?

If not, is there another solution?

Thank you for writing in. Spread Betting is not possible with any FXCM account enabled for the NinjaTrader platform, so this would not be possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I was disappointed to learn that spreadbetting is incompatible with NT.

I've just spoken to FXCM and I've been told that I should have no problem in converting my account to an FXCM CFD account and, I'm sure you will agree, that's the best solution.
