Block Trade Constraints

Hello,

I need to know the constraints for maximum order sizes I can handle in a strategy so as to not fall under a block trade size.

I need to know this for instruments FDAX, CL, NQ, 6E, FSEX.

I guess I can circumvent this by managing larger positions through multiple entries and exits.

Hello,

NinjaScript or the NinjaTrader platform do not include trading limits for any instruments -- this would be something set up in your brokerage account. If you are using the Managed Approach in your code, then you can limit the number entries that can be taken in a single direction with the EntriesPerDirection property, but there is not a hard-coded top limit.

If you are with NinjaTrader Brokerage, please send an email to brokeragesupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com to see if you have any hard limits on those particular instruments.
