Determining y-axis chart display values

Hi!

I'm looking for a means of determining the maximum and mininum DISPLAYED values on a chart at a given moment. By this I mean the y-axis values displayed at the right hand edge of the chart, NOT the max and min candle values.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try passing the min and max values here to external class variables.

public override void GetMinMaxValues(Gui.Chart.ChartControl chartControl, ref double min, ref double max)
 {
  base.GetMinMaxValues(chartControl, ref min, ref max); 
//pass the values here?
  }

Thanks Koganam. I understand how this works in an indicator, but how can I get these values into my strategy, as that is where I need to use them?

When I try to include this override in my strategy it generates an error "no suitable method found to override".

With no plotting in the Strategy, that sounds a bit strange. Regardless, you should be able to get that from the ChartControl properties.

The relevant properties will be:

ChartControl.Bounds.X
ChartControl.Bounds.Y
ChartControl.Bounds.Width
ChartControl.Bounds.Height
