    Stock marries Strategy... Many-to-many ...

Up until now, I have been dealing with one strategy attached to one stock on one chart in one instance of ninja on one computer .... .. Strictly monogamous business....

But, what if I wanted full-blown polygamy model?

If I had say a basket of say 50 stocks, and approximately 10 strategies ... In this permutation, some strategies would be applicable to a single stock only whereas some strategies would be applicable to more than one stock at the same time.

In short, I am attempting mix and match the stocks with strategies... Some Strategies can handle many stocks. Some strategies are good for one only.

Obviously, I don't think, same stock can be configured with two different strategies at the same time, from the same computer and to the same broker? Or, do I have to be prepared to act surprised on this one?

What sort of computing hardware would I need?

If I were to reduce the stock basket to 5 and strategies to 5? what hardware can I survive by?

Is polygamy not illegal in most places? Are you sure that it is legal where you are?

    Eminently doable.

Be prepared to be surprised. You can certainly do this. Many times over!

That is hard to say. What you need depends on how compute-intensive your code it. Complex code with multiple loops running CalculateOnBarClose = false on 1 minute time frames, will be much more taxing than simple linear code running on CalculateOnBarClose = true on long time frames. So, unfortunately, the only answer here is: "it depends."

      Wow!!!

How do I go about achieving this many-to-many model? Anything different that I need to write in the strategy? Any manual? Any samples?

There is nothing special that you need to do. Just apply the multiple strategies to the same stock on the same broker or different brokers, for that matter. You can do it on one chart, or on no chart if you wish. Just load the strategies on the relevant stocks and activate the strategies. Each strategy/equity combo runs as a separate entity.
