ExitOnClose and Session Manager

Hello,

I have a couple questions pertaining to the properties of ExitOnClose. If I apply a strategy with ExitOnClose in the script (let's say to an ES chart), does ExitOnClose pull the session end value from the corresponding session template (in this case, CME Index Futures ETH)? Does the session manager automatically account for daylight savings time?

The ExitOnClose would use the Session End Time. The Session Templates do not account for Day Light Savings.

That is a strange answer. The Session Template keys off local time, and local time is whatever it is, Daylight time or otherwise. How can you say that there is not a relevant adjustment based on said local time?

There is one situation in particular that can cause a disconnect between the session template and local time. In countries that do not recognize Daylight Savings Time, their local time can be an extra hour ahead or behind the local time specified in the session template (in this case, Central Time), depending upon whether the time zone of the session template is currently in the Standard or Daylight phase.
