Overfill was detected

Hello,

Every trade with the strategy below receives an overfill error. I'm sure there is something wrong with my coding logic, but I am having trouble figuring it out. The strategy should basically monitor my semi-manually entered positions and exit when conditions are met.

Likely the two ExitLong()s are racing to exit at the same time and causing the over-fill. Are you running the same instrument for both bar series?

No, this just means my thought would be correct in that both exit conditions are likely returning true fast enough that they submit the same exit order and cause the over-fill.

Thanks for the continued help, Patrick. I am still somewhat confused. When entering my order, neither the first condition (time > 4pm) nor the second condition (last bar closed red) should be true upon entry. How are both stops triggering at the same time if neither condition is true immediately upon entry?

I would expect the Over Fill on the exit orders and not on entry. Please send me your log and trace files for today so that I may look into what occurred. You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support.

This is occurring as the entry order is filled when going into a pending cancel state. The reason it is going into the cancel state is due to the limit order needing to be re-submitted each bar.

You will need to set the liveUntilCancelled bool to true: EnterLongLimit(int barsInProgressIndex, bool liveUntilCancelled, int quantity, double limitPrice, string signalName)
