possible to use VS only to develop a strategy?

I'm new to NT, wondering if it's possible to us visual studio to develop my own strategy, build it in dll and import into NT?

Anyone did this before? I tried many times, but no success.

I'm able to import the strategy into NT, then when I right click New Strategy, the New strategy windows pops with expected.
But when I select the strategy I created, click OK, the strategy does not appear in control center, no error messages in log either.

brent_, welcome to our forums, I don't think its possible and have not seen any VS only works so far, adding references in and using VS as code editor is one thing, but you would still need to run through the compile then on NT's end for the script to be used or exported as fully autark dll.

The key point is that I have to compile the code again in NT.
