manage an existing order

Hi!

Manually in a chart I created a Sell o Buy Stop order clicking with the right mouse button.

Then, I would like in the strategy source code manage this order (stop loss, exit)..
I don't want to create/submit the order in the source code.

Hello,

You will not be able to create an automated strategy that modifies an order placed manually using Chart Trader. There are automation options available via ATM strategies that can be applied to orders placed manually, such as multi-step trailing stops or automatically moving stop losses to breakeven when you hit a certain level of profit, but nothing that can exit positions based on specific criteria. More support in this area is being considered for inclusion in the next major release of NinjaTrader, but nothing has been finalized at this time.

We developed a ninjascript framework that is capable to create manually orders from chart, trade panel and automate any type of them, or to create an automated entry order and ATM that is possible to manage manually without any problem. ( 20k line of ninjascript code)

We do not recommend manually modifying orders that have been placed by strategies, and there is not an officially supported way to have an automated strategy manage an order that has been placed manually via Chart Trader. However, it sounds like Lorant may have a solution that would accomplish what you are looking for in his post below.
