    Strategy Backtesting never shows results page

    Hello everyone,

    I am developing a new strategy. When I backtest it never shows me the results page. It stays still with "Backtest in progress....". I can tell that it finished executing because the "Run Backtest" button turned active and from my log messages. What did I do wrong?

    Hello nicanor.babula,

    May I test your script?

    If you are comfortable posting the script, please attach an export to your next post.

    To export your script do the following:
    1. Click File -> Utilities -> Export NinjaScript
    2. Enter a unique name for the file in the value for 'File name:'
    3. Select the strategy from the objects list on the left -> click the right facing arrow ">" to add the strategy to the export
    4. Click the 'Export' button -> click 'yes' to add any referenced indicators to the export -> click OK to clear the export location message


    By default your exported file will be in the following location:
    • (My) Documents/NinjaTrader 7/bin/Custom/ExportNinjaScript/<export_file_name.zip>

      Hello,

      Now that I looked deeper into the issue, I don't think the problem is in my script. I have the same behaviour with the sample strategies too (for instance SampleMACrossOver)

        I also noticed that if I RightClick on parameters then "Set Default for Strategy" it never sets default...
