NT7 Output Window msgs

I'm running an output window and print statements to debug a strategy. Before starting any strategies and using Market Replay connection, I see many of these msgs in the output window:
11/3/2014 5:24:00 PM101 PSTR = 30
11/3/2014 5:27:00 PM101 PSTR = 42
11/3/2014 5:30:00 PM101 PSTR = 45
11/3/2014 5:30:00 PM101 PSTR = 40

I have no idea what is causing these to print.

Anyone have any idea?

gdavis74, they could be coming from other strategies as well, as Initialize() would be called across them all.

Also could be potentially any other script then you would have perhaps running in the background on another chart / workspace in your setup.

The output would just consolidate all messages here.

I am revisiting this issue. The messages I posted for this thread appear in the output window anytime I open up a chart right after NT7 starts up. It happens with multiple workspaces. I switched to untitled1d, the charts were all minimized. As soon as I selected a chart icon to open it, the print statements occur.

This isn't harming anything but it is adding a little overhead to NT7 to do this.

I can't find a print statement in any of the indicators or strategies to print the expression "101PSTR"

It does so happen that I have a Sim101 account like everyone else, could it be related to that?

How can I search all indicators and strategies for "PSTR"? I used win explorer and searched the NT directories in Program files and My Documents\Ninja Trader and can't find that expression.

I will also say that NT7 keeps putting out errors in the Log tab on startup that it is "Unable to restore strategy "...." . It errors with 2 different strategies and one of them, multiple times. I renamed a strategy that is showing up "REIStudies", to a new name a little while back. Find does not find REIStudies anywhere in the newly named strategy.

This should be enough background to make it a little complex

gdavis74, the restored strategies messages could be resolved by resetting the DB - you likely have a persisted instance of the non available script anymore being referenced in your setup.

For the prints, do you have any third party assemblies installed on this setup?

I am running the Weiss wave. hmm, I just noticed, in Windows Exporer, Win7, I don't see a directory under MyDocuments\Ninja Trader 7\bin\Custom\Indicators. I have the folder options set to not hide files and directories too. I wonder if I have a disk error that chkdsk will clean up. Does NT commonly hide this folder when installing the software? I'm pretty sure I used to see this. A search under that path does show the Weiss wave code and I assume search is searching that hidden folder. Thoughts?

Definitely not a hidden folder, Documents\NinjaTrader 7 would store all user settings including your custom data, indicators etc.

Yes, perhaps running through integrity CHKDSK is a good idea.

Is the Strategy Development forum shutdown and archived now? I don't see it listed, or at least did not this weekend.
