Problem in getting official opening price - connecting to IB

Hi,

I am using OnMarketData function to get the official opening price (connection to IB)
but I never get :

e.MarketDataType == MarketDataType.Opening

Does anyone knows another way to get the opening price?

Thanks for your post.

I am also experiencing this as well.

In the Market Analyzer I added a print of the MarketDataType by editing the @Opening.cs code. The print shows the DailyHigh, DailyLow, and Opening printing right when the data is reloaded (as well as Ask, Bid, Last, and DailyVolume). But in an indicator only the Ask, Bid, Last, and DailyVolume are showing.

I'm uncertain why this is different and I am getting assistance with our development department on this.

I've talked with our development and they let me know that this issue has been identified and has been corrected in the upcoming NinjaTrader 8 but this will not be corrected in NinjaTrader 7.
