Range Bar Computation

Hi

I am trying to determine how ninja develops a range bar so that i
can use the color change (new bar in opposite direction) as the
trigger for strategy. (IE: If using a 15 tick range bar and the
strategy is to trigger when there is a 16 tick move from the high
this bar or (1) bar ago whichever is higher, which would be the
first tick of new bar. This i assume would have to be able of
occurring intrabar and could occur simultaneously with the posting
of the new bar.

Any guidance is appreciated


Can this be accomplished within wizard?

If a range is 10, the first tick of the chart will start the 1st bar, the bar will build a range of 10 ticks, once a tick comes in outside this range, a new bar is started and so on...

Yes can do this in the wizard.
